Made a license plate bracket to mount to my roller fairlead. Law requires a front plate in Oregon...so I had to come up with something for the new bumper. I saw the kits you can buy online for $40, and was able to make the same thing for less than $20. Also, here's pics of the new front bumper. I still need to get some shorter bolts and ditch the stock tow hooks, so that I can move my fog lights in a few inches. Looks Good!!! Are those Mag lite clips? If so that's a great idea....what did you attach those clips to?

Those are the $5 mag lite clips. I went to Lowes and bought a small piece 6"x18" of light gage aluminum, and then trimmed it to the size of my license plate. Bought the license plate frame, and some assorted nuts/bolts, and it all came together pretty quickly.
Now, I'm noticing in the picture a little surface rust where the powder coating didn't get into the weld at my d-rings. Eh...one more little project that I'd better take care of before it gets any worse.
The best thing about the set-up is that you can take the plate off when you're off road, so that it doesn't get all bent to heck. The mag lite clips are on there really good, plus they're being held on by my rubber winch hook isolator, which I had to customize a bit with a belt sander.

Took the stock tow hooks off the new bumper tonight. I found some of the stock (shorter) bolts from when I took off the stock rear bumper and was able to put them in place of the long ones on the front bumper. This also allowed me to move my fog lights in a few inches, and it looks a heck of a lot better with them more towards the center.

Are those Bushwacker or Smittybuilt flares? I'm waiting on some that I ordered. Should get the Smittybuilts in on Thursday.

Mine are the 4 3/4" Bushwackers.
Enjoy that install!!! (It's a b!tch....tight spaces, and those inner fenderwells will tear up your fingers).

OUCH! DITTO, DITTO, DITTO. Those fenderwells TORE UP MY FREAKIN FINGERS! Did you bend yours a bit? Got them today and got as far as taking off the flares. Have alot of editing to do in the next week. Hope my fingers can function. Don't know how different the fit is, but the back ones seem to sit a bit lower and now I have a scratch from the stock flares that wont come off. Jeep looks cool without the flares though.

They'll pop back in, and you can get those plastic buttons just about anywhere... I got mine at Lowes.

They'll pop back in, and you can get those plastic buttons just about anywhere... I got mine at Lowes. Looked there, they didn't have them, at least at a price I was willing to pay. Lowe's wanted $0.80 for two pins. Tomorrow I should be installing my rear adjustable track bar and hopefully (if I find these pins) installing the inner fender wells. I will report back whether or not my local Auto Zone/Advance have them.

Took my black wheels back. They were Unique's from Discount. Worst wheel ever. They are 2 piece and even after an alignment I had serious wobble at 45mph. They're 15x7 so I went back and got 15x8.
