Hopefully today on my front porch I'll find a set of frame tie-in brackets for my rear bumper. I ordered them from Eddie (BESRK over on Jeepforum).... Groundpounder Fab I won't get around to the install until sometime in March. Also have a Skid Row steering box skid on the workbench, waiting to be installed... I'll get pics sometime later. I also bought these things this morning for my grandson... from AllThingsJeep.com www.allthingsjeep.com/follow-me.htmlwww.allthingsjeep.com/crcoofje.html

Hopefully I will finish wiring up my heated seats today. I have 7 hours into the install and this last part should be about a 30min job. I got the waterproof version www.sportsimportsltd.com/pedecafiunhe.htmlBring on the heat!

Hey lynn, you going to have one happy grandson. The heated seat idea sounds pretty cool hope it works out for ya c2kraft. I'm waiting for my new jeep visa credit card to come so i can do a little shopping myself. I want to buy a dome light switch so i can turn off the lights with the doors removed. I'll post later with pics when it comes in. Here is the link just in case you guys want to check it out. www.quadratec.com/products/13029_200.htm

I just pulled the fuse out for the dome light, they still work when you turn them on with the switch. They stay on a second or two after your turn off the motor. They are not affected by opening or closing the door. In other words they do not stay on when you have the doors off but if you need them they can be turned on simply by turning on the switch on the turn signal. Try removing the fuse inside the glove box, might just save you $ 25.

Put in the new heater fan blower motor resistor pack, and it worked!!! Now I've got all 4 fan settings again!!! $22 part and a little bit of time in the driveway vs. dealership quote of $200 to fix it... *sitting back and enjoying a cold beer now*
Taking the Jeep wheel'n in the snow tomorrow....well, because I can!!!

I just received today from Jeep Outfitters via FedEx, a CB kit with all the essentials. I got as far as installing the antenna mount and strung the coax cable. I will finish the job tomorrow and then have it adjusted. Now I won't have to use sign language on the trail!
