Put in some fresh Mobil 1 and new Autolite APP 985 spark plugs. The stockers had 45K on them.

Champion Truck Plugs, front brake pads, rotors turned, changed transfer case fluid, changed oil.
How did your plugs look at 45K??? Mine looked like crap after 60K miles. The gap was twice the spec on 4 plugs. I wish I'd have spent the $20 and 40 or so minutes on the plugs a couple years ago.

Took the LJ and the TJ to the car wash and sprayed off the road crime and salt. Did only a quicky job as it is supposed to rain later this weekend, but at least I can see what color they are now..lol

The plugs looked bad. Gap was larger and the electrode was burned off on one edge. The engine runs much smoother with the new plugs. Wished I had not waited so long.

Well Chad, I'm glad to hear that you're almost done. mine just turned 40k on the ticker. On the bright side, in a couple of months there will be two Chad's on the board with less debt.... Now I keep wondering why I'm only $5000 from being done with upgrades...It always seems like it is that way. -Chad (in WI)

looks good.......now go out and give it a try. If you like how the shovel looks, how will you permanently attach it?

Thanks moneypit, that's the one thing I don't know how to attach. I was thinking that I could buy some kind of clamp from lows and see if that would work out.

Could you drill a hole in the shovel and another in the handle and bolt through the holes in the Hi-lift? It would be sturdy and tools would be needed to steal it. Just a thought.

Good Idea, moneypit. I looked at it and though of the clamps they sell for attaching stuff to boat lifeline stanchions. But, those are a lot pricier than a drill hole and a bolt and nut. Even if you go stainless.
