Those black light bezels look pretty sharp. I may have to invest in them since I have no crome on the hulk.

THanks sylvanis, I think you should invest in them as well cause they look heck of a lot better than the stock chrome ones.

Well, I didnt do it today but a couple weeks ago for my B-day. Took off the tube steps and added 1.75" coil spacers up front and some grab handles in the back. Returned the Smittybilt flares. Also bought a Masterflow 1050 air compressor. Before After MasterFlow 1050, this thing kicks butt

I just installed a Tuffy Security drawer and now I can leave all my things in the jeep. I was always worried that someone would steal something. Peace of mind I guess. Now if I just had time to go wheelin!

HESCO throttle body spacer. We'll see if it makes any difference. I trust Lee Hurley at Hesco. Check out his website if you get a chance. He's a JEEP guru.

I would love to hear if it makes a difference. Those things are contraversial.

Short term report on throttle body spacer- Seat of the pants, feels like a little move power and response. My Jeep has a "weak" place between 45-50 mph. (I have an auto) It seems like it shifts a little too quickly into OD, and the rpm's are low for that speed. With the TBS in I don't feel that at all. Secondly, I had a quick trip the other day to south Alabama (LA) and back. Before the trip I took off the "Trumpet" from the stock air box, filled up and took off. The trip was 440 mile total. I used 18.4 gallons for a whopping 23.9 mpg. I also travelled at or below 2000rpm's, about 64=65 mph. I had little to no wind to contend with, and the a/c was used sparingly. This is just a game I sometimes play. I realize that I can not frequently repeat this sort of mpg- but I just can't help but to occaissionally play this game when travelling by myself. I am not sure whether to attribute the gain to the TBS, removing the trumpet, or just had the environment in my favor. I have gotten 20 or 21 mpg a few times before, but this is a personal best in this vehicle. My overall reaction at this point-mild power and mpg gains. For the simplicity of installation, and the low $ it is worthwhile.

bingo: what kind of tires and/or lift you have? im running 33's (pic of yellow jeep above) and a 4" lift and i'm averaging 12mpg and thats feathering the throttle and i have under 24k. was thinking about taking off the trumpet and making a bigger hole. some guys were telling me its a waste of time and money. dont know, guess i'll have to test it out myself.

No lift, stock oem tires. I realize that Jeeps are not aerodymanic and gas mileage will never be a reason to purchase one, but I really am to cheap to be able to live with 12mpg! I drive quite a bit , and my LJ is my DD, so I have to at least let myself believe that the mpg is acceptable for me to justify owning one (I actually have two Jeeps, my other is a 93 YJ , just to toy with) I'm not sure the trumpet makes much difference, but if several small things each make it little difference, it can help. I too really feather the gas pedal, and I think that is one of the main reasons I can sometimes get good mileage. I have also found that NOT using the Cruise Control makes me get better mileage. I just hold my foot steady on the gas on hills. W/ cruise, it gives it more gas to maintain the same speed.

The cage looks great. I have looked at that thing so many times. How was the install? As for the paint. My 04 was missing lots of paint on the under carriage. My son in laws 06 Rubi was not painted under the cargo area carpet. How cheap is that!
