Wow, this board sure did die. Hopefully some of you still have your Unlimited. I know I plan on keeping mine for a long time. Just checking to see if a few of you are still around.

Still around. I check in every week or so, but there are really no posts. Time to regear the axles on the "short bus"... Trying to decide between going with F/R True Tracs, or just putting an ARB in the rear and leaving the front open (for now).

Seems that since the Domain name was lost the board died. No way for new people to find the site easily. It's to bad, because I really liked this group of people. No snipping or BS. If anyone knows how to rev this site up,,,,,,do it!
Nwquadriders....get the ARB's you will not regret it.

It was www.wranglerunlimited.com But it is now a pro-boards website. I don't know what happened. I got an email last year from the site owner asking if I wanted to buy the site. I never got a reply to my response. So I really don't know what happened or how to save the site. If anyone has a suggestion, post it. Maybe something can be done. There is a lot of great info here. Mostly for the 04-06 LJ's but still we could use more info on the new JK stuff. |

Still here - still own the Unlimited - however, I don't drive it to work anymore - I was racking up miles like crazy {60 mile commute, one way} - I tried one of those little Dodge Calibers for awhile, it was ok, but after a year I never warmed up to it - so I sold it and went back to driving an old Ford Explorer that I have with 200,000 miles on it - figured I would just drive that until the wheels fall off. So, with all of that said, the wife basically drives the Jeep during the day - kids love it, they have a really cool mom when she pulls up to the school in it!!! It been the best of both worlds, it now gets maybe 50 miles put on it during the week, and we get to go have fun with it on the weekends!

I am still around also! Check in quickly every couple weeks.
Haven't done much to the Jeep lately. Just working on paying it off.
I agree with some of the post above, this board has a great group of people on it.

I am still around too. I check in about once a week but it certainly is not like the golden era of late 2005 thru early 06. Still have the LJ and it is still still rocking the "www.wranglerunlimited.com" stickers on the rocker panels. Losing that domain name was definitely the downfall. Shame that had to happen. Getting ready to head off for Tennessee and the 101st Airborne. Heard there is a nice OHV in the Land Between the Lakes up there.

I'm still here.....I'll be keeping hte LJ as long as possible...it's paid for right now. Ordering a Viair for it this weekend.

Im still here too and still have my LJ 66,000 miles and its only 3 years old! Ive had a lot of life changes,, divorce then re-married.
My new wife loves my Jeep and actually encourages me to do stuff to it!!

Still around and checking in now and then. I don't have my red 06 LJ anymore, but I do miss it.
However.... I'm not driving the green 2 wheel drive 4 door Sahara 07 anymore, either. We traded it in this evening on a black 09 Rubicon Unlimited 4 door! YES!! My husband says it is the last one we get. If you're going to get your last jeep ever, this is the one for me! He'll drive it now and then, but I'm the real jeep lover in the family. The guy finishing our paper work couldn't understand why anyone would trade in a two year old jeep for another jeep, much less a 4 door for another 4 door. He didn't seem to appreciate the difference between having a town jeep and a go-everywhere-do-whatever-jeep.
I know this has always been the LJ forum, but I started out here with my LJ, and this is still the best forum I've seen around--and the 4 door is still an Unlimited. I love my new Rubicon. I always wanted one, but never thought I'd really get one! I'll come back with a picture in a few days!
