I am still here and check in every once and a while. My LJ has just over 52k on it. Not bad for a 04. Some new bfg's are in the works as well as a new bumper rated for towing the pop up camper.

My 18 year old is driving my Jeep. I plan to keep it almost stock until at least my second son finishes driving it for high school and maybe some college. My 04 LJ has 164k miles on the ticker. The only problems I have had are water pump and thermostat @ 109k miles and catalytic converter went South @ 135k miles. I checked in here on a whim while setting up a new computer. Have a nice day.

I havnt been here in quite a while, my jeep is my daily driver. I retired from one job and have taken another one. I have 130,000 miles on my jeep and had to buy a new catalytic converter. Took it on extended road trip for vacation last summer. 3 adults in a jeep from Eastern Oklahoma to Vegas and back with stops in New Mexico, the Grand Canyon, Zion Natl Park and then mountain trails in Ouray, Colorado. Long trip took over 8 days but had a blast. Had to replace the radiator cap in Albuquerque, due to it overheating driving in 110 degree weather at 75 mph in the mountains. New radiator cap solved the overheat, and we were back in business. On third set of MT Baja's I love the tires and get about 40000 miles out of a set. No new equipment other than a couple of racks to hold 5 gal Jerry cans, one with gas and one with water, saved the day with the overheat problem. I love the jeep and will probably drive it until i die. Hopefully a few years from now, the more the better. Still like the site but hardly ever check it.
Later, Len
