Besides $100.00 bills, what kind of things do you collect? I have been a part time Antique dealer for 18 yrs. I see people collect all sorts or stuff. Just curious what our Jeep crowd collects.
I will start. My main collection is old pocket and wrist watches. Running or not. My main focus is, railroad and fancy dial pocket watches. My side collection is old/new diecast cars ect.
Lets see who has the strangest collection.

I've got a couple thousand Hotwheels cars new still in their packages, not one repeat in the bunch... I went nuts there for about 6 years and spent a lot of time trying to get them all. It was fun...but now I'm considering liquidating the whole lot (since they've all been in plastic tubs in my attic for the past 4 years).
The stuff I keep on display (on my desk) are die cast atv's, and other off road vehicles (Jeeps, Land Cruisers, Land Rovers, etc...).
I'm on the verge of "collecting" (buying) a few old Honda trailbikes... I'd like to restore a couple and have them for putting around on with my wife when we go on Jeep trips or camping.

State Quarters is about the most these days. When I was younger I used to collect those Smurf figurines. Still have them piled in a box. Wife looked them up on line and some of them are worth 40 bucks now. So my Smurfs may become a bumper one of these days.

I don't collect things any more. As a matter of fact I'm "de-collecting". I'm getting rid of a lot of my stuff. The older I get the less stuff I need. I have 1000's of stamps and other junk I'm going to put on eBay. The only exception is tools. Tools are my weakness.

Trying to simplify things...way too much useless crapola around the house/in closets/in attic/and in my garage. But between my ATV's, the Jeep, and home improvement...my tool collection is really starting to come in handy.

I collect bottlecaps. And not different ones, I just save all the caps, from all the beer I drink, and I'm going to use them to make a mural. I collect hats also. Floppy hats, stocking caps & mostly just baseball hats. But not just "baseball" hats. Images. Anything that strikes me, I save. I'm an artist so this is a natural thing. I also have lots of sketchbooks. I've saved them for well over 13 years of my life. That's alot of drawings. That's all.

I've been meaning to post to this thread for awhile. I used to collect sports cards, sports action figures and older sports magazines, and have been in the process of de-collecting as well. Ebay has been pretty good and the money has come in handy for Jeep stuff. It was fun to collect as a kid but the sports card hobby is quite expensive anymore. I mean really, how long do I save this stuff. It's more fun to sell on Ebay and get goodies for the Jeep! I do have a small collection of die-cast and other toy Jeeps that I display on a shelf in my study. I'd like to keep that going since it is a serious interest of mine. It's a Jeep thing that my wife doesn't understand.

I started collecting hotwheels with my son. Have a few thousand. I also started collecting these rock knives and spear heads that I found out in the desert. Well, my wife got mad at me on day and threw, yes, threw them away. Have one left in a shadow box. Maybe I'll put in on ebay.

I collect money to feed the gas tank.......
Really, I don't collect much any more. I've got like 2000 comic books and have stopped purchasing them and my wife collects partylite candles. Why she never burns them is beyond me.
Oh and last night we just collected another dog....off track racing greyhound. We'll see if she likes off roading soon enough.

I think I ended up collecting bicycles and old computer parts. I'm not sure how it happened.
