Here is a question for you folks, if Jeep puts out a wrangler that is even bigger than the Unlimited, would you trade in the unlimited to get it ,or would you just keep the Unlimited? Rich..

It depends on what the salesman says everyone else likes and is buying! ;D I'm not trading mine in on anything! I'm running my unlimited into the dirt!

It depends on if the whole package fits my needs better. I assume you are refering to the TKL 4 door. If I see one and I think that it is a worthy evolution of the jeep, and has a rubicon type edition(lockers) a TD or V8 and a well thought out interior, I would consider it after a year or two to work out all the bugs . But if by then I get a bigger garage I would like to have both

I hear the tkl 4 door is longer than the unlimited but not as stylish as the unlimited. what i like about the unlimited is that they kept the style the same as the normal size tj, just stretched it out a little more. no major changes. i heard that thetkl looks nothing like the current wrangler, but it is a 4 door and its longer. I will keep my Unlimited until the wheels fall off or until some jerk rear ends me and totals it out. I'm just not in to the new vehicle every other year thing. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't have the Unlimited I have right now if the idiot behind me saw the same big white city bus stopping like I did.

I agree, I am not into a new vehicle every year. I am a sales manager in a motorsports dealership, and I see the losses everone takes when they trade often.
I love the LJ, and I am running it into the ground!

got my 2nd oil change today. service guy told me that my jeeps gas mileage should improve as it breaks in more. He said I should notice a difference between this oil change and my next oil change. people at the dealership were admiring my wrangler today as well. didnt run into my salesman today folks. now, i have to clear out the garage so I can get her in there at night. I've always figured that if I drive a 4 door, it will have to be a crew cab pickup, or a Lincoln Town Car. I can't help it, I grew up in the 70s, and 2 doors were king. I guess if the new Wrangler really turns me on, I might consider it. But I'm more likely to steer my wife towards it.

Does anyone have a picture of the new wrangler they would like to share with us? Rich

If anyone has seen one without cladding, they aren't talking. DCX is keeping this thing pretty well covered up. I work for a large fleet company, and we can't even get a peak yet.

I am not trading mine in for a long time. I have spent way to much on Mods. You just don't get any of that back at trade in. So I will drive the wheels off of it. If the 4 door Wrangler looks good and I want one I will try to sell the wife on it for her vehicle and then I get to drive both!

We're a 2-Jeep family, so when the time comes to upgrade the Liberty, the 4 door Wrangler, or Patriot, or whatever....will be out next option.
My LJ isn't going anywhere (except maybe up a couple more inches, and, and, and...)

No, I'd rather have a "mileage maker" car, so that my Unlimited can get a little more trail oriented.

I may look at another jeep down the road, but my odometer just ticked over 20,000. I would be keeping the LJ as a trail beast or Scrambler conversion in the event that I decided to get something newer after this one is payed off.

Rich Well I believe it will be the same deal. The new TK and the TKL will be identicle except the L will be stretched and have 4 doors. The rumor is that the TK will be 103" wheel base like the LJ and the TKL will be 138" like the follow on gladiator
