Actually, I've owned my '05 Unlimited for about a year now, but just recently discovered this forum. Already picked up a few good tips--I can tell this is going to be a fun place to hang out.
This is my first Jeep of any kind, and so far I've been very happy with it (other than the MPG, of course). It's deep beryl green with 6spd, soft top only, cruise pkg & 7-speaker stereo. So far I haven't made any modifications (unless you count my Dead tire cover and an add-on Sirius radio), but I just ordered a set of Bestop 2-piece soft doors and mirrors. And I'll probably get the Instatrunk when it's available.
I had a GREAT time last summer driving around with the top down (there's nothing like it), and I'm looking forward to more of the same this year--sans doors. I'm hoping the soft doors spend more time stowed behind the backseat than actually on the vehicle, but we get a lot of sudden showers in NJ between now and the fall.
