This is the Eddenburg trail right, (sorry for the spelling) I have been on that trail , it is nothing real hard but good for a new or fairly stock Jeep and a great family ride on Sat or Sun ;D Correct - that is the Taskers Gap part of the trail - follows the mountains to the south from Edinburgh - the Peters Mill Run heads north towards Woodstock. I agree on the difficulty factor {last time we were up there we came across a guy in a Subaru Outback about half way in but that was as far as he could go}, but as you know living around here beggers can't be choosers in this area!

Good to hear from some Virginians on this thread! I was born in the Fairfax County Hospital and grew up in Virginia until we moved to Alaska when I was eleven. I live in Idaho now and have no regrets . . . but still I get very nostalgic when I think of honeysuckle flowers, fireworks at Wolftrap, and swimming in Bull Run.

Very cool - I spent my teenage years in Fairfax {Kings Park West} - live in the Shenandoah Valley now - can't keep the kids away from the honeysuckles!
