Wow I found an LJ site! My name is JoeyB from Colorado Springs. I have an '04 Unlimited currently in construction. I'll keep you posted as it should be "some what completed" in Jan/Feb time frame. As of now it's on 37's w/ 5" suspension - 1" BL and geared/locked. I'll post all the other info once it's done. Look forward to learning and sharing any and all information. Good wheeling to all, JoeyB

Very nice looking rig Joey. And what a great place to live. Do you have any picks from the side? I've often wondered how large those PSC stinger bumpers would look on the Unlimited.
Nice job on the fenders and the turn signal relocation. Welcome aboard.

That thing looks pretty heavily modded already.
What sort of stuff do you still have planned for it?

That thing looks pretty heavily modded already. What sort of stuff do you still have planned for it? Radius arm the front, 4 link the rear, belly up skid, truss the Dana 30 (to handle the 37's...I know polishing a turd), and alloy's front/rear. I'll keep posted on the progress!

The buyer for the PSC stinger backed out...so I decided to just keep it and press on with suspension mods. You'll laugh at the looks you get from people in sedans when you pull behind them at a light!!!

Thanks for the offer to help build up the LJ. Right now I am just waiting for it to be built period. I would definitely love the help.
Where do you live in the Springs? Your neighborhood looks familiar but all the 'hoods in the Springs are starting to look the same.

Looks like I maybe returning for my third rotation...we'll see!

Cool. I am in Fountain right now, but I know just where you live. The Powers area is getting crazy. What unit are you in?

I've only had the 37's on for 3 weeks now...I'm not going to try wheeling a stock 30 w/ 37's. Besides, this is my "build up" time of the year...gotta get it ready for next spring/season. I've resided to polishing a "turd"...alloy's, joint's, and trussing the 30 for now. We'll see how it goes, I'll just carry plenty of spares. My "build ups" are usually drawn out over a couple years. My XJ took 4 years... for geewiz here's a pic...I regret selling it, but at the time it was the right thing to do.

That is sweet! I am glad I got somebody in the know close by. I don't even have the Jeep yet but I am already planning for everything that I am going to do to it. I can already tell this is going to be an addiction that is going to irritate the wife and cost a lot of cash.
If you get called up to go back, let me know. I can rustle up somethings that might make your life easier here or give you the scoop on where you are going. (Never thought I would know so much about Iraq). I still have a few months but I will look you up when I get back. Maybe it is time for an LJ club in the greater Colorado Springs area?
