Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Tim, and my wife is Bonnie. She talked me into getting our first Jeep back in October. OK, it didn't take much convincing. We wanted space for our three big dogs, and my rifle cases, so we went with the 04 Unlimited. It looked a little strange at first, but after we lifted it, it's grown on me. I love this ride. Here are a couple pictures: Since these pictures were taken, I've moved the jack to the front bumper in preparation for installing a new rear bumper. We've also bought some soft half doors for the nice weather. I just found this forum, and look forward to hanging out.

Tim,
Great looking LJ. Where did you get your half doors, and how much were they? I want some too, for our short Maine summers.

Steve in Maine We got the Bestop soft lower half doors from Cyberjeep.com. I think they're in Florida. My wife shopped around and they had the best price. The only thing you have to put together is the latch, which was easy to fit. They aren't perfect, but they keep the elements out pretty good for around $130.

Sweet jeep! I'm looking forward to hearing about your lift on it as well.
Quick question, where did you get the cargo net? I'm assuming that is for the dogs, and as I have three of my own, I'd love to do something similar.

Ridge We have the 4" Teraflex shortarm kit. We bought it and had it installed locally, at Desert Rat. The salesman was great to work with, asking good questions and selling us only what we need. The kit came with discos and a steering box skid. It's worked out great so far.

Hi Tim, Love the Jeep! Where'd you get that awesome cargo net? Thanks! Jack They're made by Raingler and they are very well built. The fit and finish are perfect. We got them for our three dogs, so they can ride the trails with us. The best price on these are at Rock-It Man Fabrication. Email chris@rock-itman.com for a quote.

That is one sweet ride. Since we bought the jeep the idea of moving back to AZ has kept on coming up with the wife and I. Is there a top net for the roll bar or is it just open. The wife is so worried that the dogs are going to go flying out at speed..... Were those pics taken out by roosevelt? Cheers and nice build on the jeep.

The top is open, but you can get the rear net sized to enclose the top too. We have three big dogs, including a tall Rottie, and they are nowhere close to being able to get out the top. The only way that could happen is in a rollover.
The picture was taken at one of the coves on the opposite side of Saguaro Lake.
