I'm looking for a bicycle rack. I want a spare tire style rack but I have 33 Pro comps Mud TA's. Any one have any good suggestions before my cross country trip coming up?

www.quadratec.com/products/product_search.php?kw=bike+rackThis company is local to me, and not too far from virginia, and will match any price, and are knowlegable. I am not sure on tire size, but they have a few to choose from. If you are running an oversized tire as a spare, and it is connected to the tailgate, I would lean away from adding anymore weight to it. Hope this helps.

i have LT245/75R16E BSW 31" MT/R Tire on and i bought a thule bike carrier and it barely fit but works well. i think the only way is as a hitch reciever or on the roof. i will have to go that route if i get bigger tires myself.

I too struggled with this for a bike rack. With a 33" spare, no over the tire rack will work. I didn't want to have to add the bar to keep the bike level either. So I ended up with a Sport rack model 91330 that I bought from www.etrailer.com. It installs into the receiver.Thule makes one that is similar but cost twice as much.I chose the one I did based on how far I need to go. Most of my riding is only 20 minutes away. And I don't have to disassemble anything. I let you know how it is after I get it. According to the tracking it should be here tomorrow.
