The House Natural Resources Committee, Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests and Public Lands has scheduled a hearing titled "Off-Highway Vehicle Use on Federal Lands" on March 13, 2008. The witness list has not been set as of this time, but it is important that OHV enthusiasts weigh in with members of the Subcommittee to make sure they understand the importance of continued and improved OHV recreation on federal lands. Go here: www.arra-access.com/campaign/subcommittee_hearing_mar13 Just punch in your name and address on the side and hit send. It'll take 2 minutes to voice your opinion.

Crap, I just typed a bunch of good stuff, filled out my name, address, etc., clicked send and I got this message:
We're sorry, but it appears that you are not eligible to participate in this campaign. This could be for one of several reasons, possibly:
You do not live in the target state or district, or if you do; We may have not been able to map your address to your elected official.
Bummer!

Sorry about that....when I read the site, it didn't specifically say WI. It's a good site and you can get info on issues in your state.

You're right sylvanis, it's a great site. And everyone of us should do everything we can to let others (congressman, etc.) know how important the great outdoors is, and all of the benefits it has to offer, no matter where it is! I feel fortunate to live in "God's Country" and it is the life!
