I have decided to get the BFG A/T's. I have had a set before and did like the ride on the road and the trail. The trails I do are moderate trails, nothing hard. My Pro Comps are half gone and I only had them for about 13 months with about 10,000 on'em. Besides, I live in the desert and only see a small amount of mud when I get to the mountains. Anybody use these and if so what do you air them down to? Thanks......

I'm running 33x10.50s on the factory wheels. My Staun tire deflators (most useful Jeep gadget I've bought) are set to 12 psi. not a whole lot of "bulge" @ 12 psi, but here's one of my few action shots. (i've got to bring a camera person along for the rides...and make them ride in the Jeep ahead of me.)

Mine are great. I have about 25k miles on them and they should last another 25k miles. I usually air down to about 15psi. I bent a rim on this trip and had to beat it back into shape to air back up but I never popped a bead. The sidewalls held great with no damage.

That was my choice.

I have 32" BFG AT's and love them. They are about the same loudness on the road a stock but perform quite a bit better off road. I air mine down to mid teens and have never had any problems. As sylvanis stated, they don't bulge much even aired down.
They are wearing great so far - I have about 20k miles on them and can barely tell by the tread.

Sold on the A/T's. I am going to stick with the 32's from what I have read and discussed, the 11.50 will work better than the 10.50 out here in some of the sand. Which is about 70% of what I wheel on the other is mountain trails and some small rock areas. Even in this rain the tires pretty much sit on top of the sand.

Went to go and get my tires and was given a different price on the phone. They assumed that I only wanted 4, not mad , just did not do the deal, I have been getting all my tires from the same guy for awhile. Heck, I might end up just getting some 33/10.50/15's I saw on ebay. I think it was 4 for 595 and thats with shipping, so it ends up to about 149 a tire then just get another in a couple of weeks..... Going to check tire rack and another site I found. Anybody know any good sites. Thanks for the good pics too

I found the 33/10.50/15 BFG A/T's on ebay @ $100.00 each plus shipping. Got an answer and the shipping for 5 will be $112. I figure after everything mount included comes to about $ 135 a tire. I don't think I can get a better deal and I'll still have the mud tires and rims to swap with. What do yall think? Anybody got something better, let me know, want to pull the trigger on this this evening.

I got mine for about $125/tire with the trade in of my GSA's (I guess somebody will buy them...). I went to Discount Tire (I think in some states it is called America's Tire). They have great service and were the only ones to offer a trade-in on my old tires with ~20k miles on em - about $20/tire. That sure beats paying other places a disposal fee...

After all the DANG thinking and askin' questions I got the BFG A/T 33/10.50/15 tires. Well actually had , just got'em mounted on the rims yesterday. No chance at putting them on yet, next weekend, taking a long freeway drive so they will go on then. I'll post pics and give some feed back then. Thanks for all yall's advice.

I'm sure you'll be very happy with them!! Now get out in your garage and put them on!!!! Either that, or just take a deep breath (I've got a thing for "new tire smell")... I know...must be from sniffing all that rubber cement in grade school.

You're right, I have been lazy. I'll get out there and get them on. Yeah even the boss agrees. The new tire smell, well I enjoy that too! When I took them to get mounted on the rims I was in heaven. Maybe, we can make a freshener with that smell. Naw, it goes with the feel of new tires on the rig.

Looking forward to your pics Timmy... Speaking of "rubber smell", Last fall I installed a thick rubber mat in the back of my LJ, got it at Tractor Supply. It had an intense rubber smell even after washing and spraying with Fabreeze I used some of those Yankee Candle cardboard smelly things in a pine scent... couldn't even smell them over the rubber smell! Now after 6 months it's not as intense inside... just smells like I havea few extra new tires in the back! What wheels are you going to use?
