Hmm....not sure about on a JK. I'm sure its different from a TJ.?
The fuse should be specified in the manual as to which one is for the dome lights. There should be a table in the manual that shows what all of the fuses are.
You might want to search on the JK forums as well though if you dont see it in the manual

I presume that you've got power windows and locks? Just unplug the doors. You may also want to look on www.jk-forum.com as they are a JK only board.

Yes, power windows and locks. I checked the owners manual and didn't see any fuse listed for the dome lights. I think they will EVENTUALLY time out but I think I'd like to just disable them with a switch.
I chase fish up and down the beach which means starting and stopping the JK alot. I don't want to drive down the beach with lights and buzzers blazing.

Fuse 4 in a LJ is for disabling the door switches. It still allows you to use your interior light. You'll most likely be looking for a "doorswitch disable" fuse.
