Boat is approximately 1500 lbs. 30 Gals of fuel @ about 8 lbs/gal. Trailer not really sure but is probably less than 1000. The problem pulling is the wind load. It has a really high frontal surface area. Longest pull so far is about 30 mi to the lake, then 30 miles back. Guess the mpg was about 10 or so. If you really want the total, I will get it weighed the next time I go to the lake at the local feed store.

Boats are one of the reasons I'm after a jeep, too. Initially, I needed the Unlimited to tow the boat I wanted. There's a 1500 lb difference in the towing capacity between swb and lwb. And even a 16' aluminum fishing boat is pushing the swb limit. Also as I said, I find the swb undriveable. It wanders. The LWB doesn't do that. But then I found this beauty. She's a 20' 500 lb stitch and glue garvey I intend to build. Of course, I've got to get my arse off ground zero to afford to build the garvey, much less buy the Unlimited. Still struggling with that.

Looks great. I am not to good with metric tire sizes. Is that a 33" equivalent?

Hey, thanks for the garage poser pics! Seriously, it shows what a truly beautiful color that red is. Gorgeous. Looking at that door surround and thinking of the pics posted the other day of the 07 unlimited, I'm puzzled why they didn't paint that B Pillar black. If I end up waiting until I have to get an 07, I will definitely paint that pillar black. 'Cause it will run with the top down and half doors most of the time anyway.

Bikertrash - That looks great. Can you give me a price breakdown on everything necessary for the lift? I'm not worried about wheels and tires, just the lift and any suspension accessories. (SYE, discos, etc...) I'm saving up and leaning toward a RE 3.5 SF. Did you install it yourself and how hard was it if you did?

The wheels were Eagle 117s. There are slim pickings on 15" wheels these days. Most the bling out there are 16" and bigger. These are an old style but I like them anyway. I installed the lift with my wifes help. I have about 1000 bucks in the suspension including the RE 7003 3 1/2" SuperFlex kit, adjustable front track bar, and RE monotube shocks. It took me about 16 hours but was well worth it. (PM me if you would like to know where I got the lift) I did have a little trouble getting the rear track bar relocated (2 damn hours) I got a total of 7 inches of lift with the lift and 33" tires. Rides great! Sorry for the driveway pics but I will try to get some better pictures soon.

Very nice! Are you going to be getting the wider fender flares? That's something I still need to get for my 33's. You probably don't get to take the top off much down there in Houston do you?

I am considering some wider flairs. I also have the half top we put on once in a while. Its not 100% waterproof, but it does keep the a/c inside the Jeep. Next thing I am going to work on is bumpers. Need a tire carrier that will hold a 33" tire. Stock bumpers suck.
