Great pics Wilcav! So many months, and so many patrols have gone by since you first posted here and now you've got your ride. Its the end of a wait, and the beginning of a long and happy relationship. And like your other relationships, she'll want all your money. It looks like you put the pet nets in. If so, you're 4-legged family members will love the ride.

I was puttering around with it earlier today, and I couldnt get it to go back. It looks like it has the hinges to do so, but I cant get it to fold back at all. I know, I know, RTFM...but it didnt come with one Any ideas? There is a sleave on each side that needs to be pulled forward, exposing the hinge in the frame. I've had instances where a screw in the frame was loose and interfering with this sleave. That should be all you need. Pull the sleave forward, unlatch the top from the door surrounds and the window header, and it should all fold back.

Here is a couple picture of the dogs. They love the ride. One of the most aggravating things I have ever done was to thread that strap through those buckles.

The first time produced one of the worst thumb cramps of my life. The CIA could use that technique. I would surely talk. I've found that if you press the tab on the buckle until it bottoms out, it maximizes the opening and makes it a little easier. Your babies are worth it.

OK, so I've been lurking around for a while....here's a pic of my LJ from a ride on Halloween weekend 2005. My yellow lab loves the extra space that the back gives him from my 02 TJ. Rather than the netting for him, I put the top down and windows out. He wears a seatbelt harness and I just connect it to an old seatbelt that loops over on itself and connect the harness to the belt with a climbing carabiner rated @ 12,00 lbs shock, so in case of an accident, he doesn't go flying into the back of my seat, or worse yet, into my daughter's car seat. (they're buddies) But as long as they're both contained, that iswhat really counts!

Here are some pics...finally. Or at least an attempt at some. I tried posting before but the image was too large. I just got around to doing the photobucket thing. The pic w/ the doors off is today, the other is the first week I bought "the obsession."

Nice looking jeep! The weather looks great. I had my top down for 2 days now, and planning on leaving it down till next weekend, when it looks like rain. I don't have a trail cover yet so I'll keep my fingers crossed!

Nice Jeeps ssbeagle....Reminds me of mine....LOL
Here's a couple of updated pictures of mine....finally got the half doors on....yay! (I'd go doorless but with two kids under 4, the half doors are a 'bit' more piece of mind)....
Definitely makes it look longer!!!
Next up is an OME lift and 32s....but that'll be next year (lol...again, 2 kids under 4...LOL)

Nice jeep! The half-doors are nice, too. I couldn't use them taken down, either. We don't have little guys, but the 3 beagles are about like having small children that never grow up! They are quite a handful! I wish I could take all three for a ride, but I haven't figured out the best way to insure that they stay inside the jeep, yet. They're fast! We've spent too many years chasing their little tails through the neighboring woods when they escaped from the house. They find a scent and just keep going till you catch up with them and grab them! We're getting too old for that kind of excitement! (Jeepin', yes, chasing dogs, no!) I'm not able to buy much more than floormats right now, either. (One of the beagles has high medical expenses with age-related health.) It's hard not to look at all those catalogs for parts, though. I have a big wish list already. I have to remind myself I that I did get the Unlimited when we weren't even looking to buy one. The other jeep was fine, but we got a deal too hard to pass up, so I'm pretty lucky to have the new jeep itself.
