Kevin where were you a few weeks back when I was looking at ordering this kit!!! I order it, get it in and then you post this!!!! I have been searching for someone who has this kit. I ordered mine on a gamble, I haven't seen 1 other LJ with this kit until yours. I'm putting mine on tomorrow. It looks like yours sits pretty level due to the weight of the hard top, I'm putting a .75" spacer up front to level mine out. I don't like the rake I've seen on some rigs. I also have spidertrax spacers I'm putting on as well. I'll post pics as soon as I can. Thanks for the pics....Brad

RubyRedLJ...ahh I can almost taste the beer and see the sunset.
Cheers!
Kevin: Congrats on the Rusty lift it looks great, I've heard good things about Rusty's product localy. I think RE and Rusty use the same spring manufacturer. I almost picked that same set up. That is the same size and stance I'm looking for only with OME. Did tou run into any problems wth backspacing for the 32x11.5 and the Ravines?
Moneypit: If your still watching, did your OME have much of a rake when you first installed it without the ACOS? I realize the rake is a stock stance, but it seems to be more pronounced the higher you go. I almost ordered the ACOS with the lift but I don't have a wench or ofter market bumper so I thought it would set too high in front with the extra 1.25".

Brad - I kind of took a gamble too. Haven't really seen any LJ's that are lifted mildlly and really struggled with going 3" and 33's. I was afraid of all the extra stuff that may have been required with going higher - SYE, rims or spacers.... I haven't wrenched on a car in years other than minor stuff. I got my kit about a week before I expected it and dropped everything on a Friday night and went for it. Not too bad, considering I was doing it by myself. Only about 5 hours. I'm really pleased with the look. I thought about the front spacers too late. We'll see what happens in the spring when the soft top goes on. Hope your install went well.
Eric - no real problems with backspacing. The two tire stores I had to shop between here wouldn't touch the Jeep with spacers and both guaranteed that I wouldn't have any trouble. Just took two washers on each steering stop, and it was perfect.

I sat pretty level when done before the ACOS. I had trouble with fender rubbing under extreme articulation. Then I added the ACOS to give me some extra lift to help out that problem. I only have the medium duty front springs. I made a mistake when ordering and did not notice till I was installing them. I also did not know at the time that I was going to get a winch and bumper. The added weight cost me about 3/4" plus some settling .My next move is to order the HD OME front springs and install some extra bump stops on the spring perch to fix the problem . Then I should be done for awhile. I will set the front end slightly higher then the rear when I do the upgrade.

Brad, looks great! What a difference. These things just look unfinished with the stock setup.
You know, I was at the gas station a little bit ago and I was checking out that rear tire offset. I'll wait til the weather gets warm to take that one on.

Bigbubbalj - where did you get the hoop for your front bumper? I like the look of that and the fact it doesn't seem to interfere with your lights or tow hooks.
Is it just me or are 32's becoming popular on LJ's?!?!?!?!?

32's is how they should come from the factory, or even better with 33's.

It doesn't at all, it's real simple and just gives it a little more character......here's the link... www.jcroffroad.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvcThey sell them on ebay as well.....that's where I found mine.

32's is how they should come from the factory, or even better with 33's. I think 32's are just the perfect size for a daily driver, 33's are great but you will really feel the difference in power around town unless you regear from the 3.73s. Go to a tire shop and put a 32 next to a 33, you wouldn't think so, (it's "JUST" and inch wider/taller) but there is ALOT of difference. FYI, 32's will be stock on the 07 Rubicon....
