I noticed a slight leak there when changing my oil. I guess I'll have to fix this on my own if it becomes a problem. So far, it's not dripping on the concrete. I just saw some between my oil pan and transmission. I hope they have a recall.

Correct me if I am wrong, but being the second owner doesn't void the 7yr/70,000mile.

It should not void the warrenty just cause your the second owner, if you only have 60,000 miles they have to cover it.

Ok, this is not good: Looks like I too will need to visit the dealership. When you guys go do you remove aftermarket parts? For example my engine and transmission skid plate, should that be removed before I drop it off? Thanks Krafty ps. Sorry about the picture size. I can't get photobucket to resize them.

I would remove them just in case but thats my opinion. Thats exactly what my jeep looked like before it was fixed.

Well, after I get the dirt cleaned off from this weekend I will remove my skids and take it to the dealership.
I hope this is a once and done deal.

Going in tomorrow to be looked at. I sure hope I don't have to fight over the lift/warranty issue. It seems as though most of you have not had a problem with having a lift on.

Fwiw, this what I know regarding the extended drivetrain warranty being the second owner of my Jeep. I had to "transfer" the warranty in my name by a certain amount of time I'm pretty sure. The 3/36K went to me automatically but the drive train warranty does "not" automatically go to the second owner according to my dealership. I paid around 150.00 for it.. You couldn't beat it for the price... So if you have not already told them the problem maybe you should see if you can transfer "purchase" the drivetrain warranty first? Good Luck...

The lift shouldn't have been an issue. The guy working on my Jeep just commented on how much he liked it! Let us know how it goes.

According to the mechanic, what you see in the pictures above is just "runoff" from changing my oil filter. They have dye in the motor oil right now so I can keep an eye on rear main for leaking.
$63.00 and I didn't even get an oil change.
