Has anyone purchased the Mopar accessory Half top soft top kit for their Unlimited? (The part number is 82208929 for Black, 82209344 for gray, and 82208930 for khaki.
A dealer in North Carolina (GerryWood) has it listed on Ebay with a photo. Sort of looks like an extended cab pickup truck look, similar to the Bestop Halftop model.
I'm curious if anyone has one of these and what they think of it.

I've got one and I really like it. I keep it up most the time with my windows down and the back window rolled down. Keeps me from getting sunburned. The top comes off and on in less than 10 minutes (that's doing it by myself). The first time took a bit longer but once you've done it, it's a piece of cake.

Thanks for the reply and the photo. I had not seen a side view, and your picture helped answer several questions. I assume the half top is not like the full version with a 'sun-rider' sun roof? The half top definitely gives the Unlimited a unique look.

No, it doesn't have the Sun-Rider option (which would have been very cool) but for me this is a great Summer top for Oregon where it rains A LOT. With the mesh rear window, I can roll the plastic window down, and the windows on my doors, and basically be driving around with a bikini top on (which really protects me from getting sun burnt in rush hour traffic). This thing is definitely water tight!!! No leaks anywhere and it's been rained on a bunch since this Spring. It's quite a bit louder than the hard top driving at freeway speeds, but that really doesn't bother me. When the Unlimited came out, I had pictured it with a half cab, and when I found out Mopar was offering one, I ordered it that day. No regrets here!!!

ya i seen that also on e-bay but they only show a top view of it and it looks sharp, but with nwquadriders it looks like it lifted up where the speakers are.not what i thought it would look like.is there like a bow there or something, cause i pictured it being right flush againest the speakers meaning flat on top of the speakers.almost looks like a spoilers type lift. i think it look better if it was flat like best-top safari top "flat" 2hi2cme

can you take the back window off and tonneau if you want. so in other words is it's in three pieces and can you rool up the tonneau half way and use the back seat. or does the seat have to be removed or can it be left there. 2hi2cme

You can roll the back window (plastic portion) up and it still has a black mesh screen for shade, etc...I go around like that alot with the windows down. It's just like having a bikini top on, as far as air flow goes, but it's a lot quieter and the mesh window protects me from getting sunburnt in rush hour traffic.
The rear seat cannot be used with this top. It can be left in the Jeep (folded forward) or removed for more storage space.

Nope...the rear window sits behind the folded up rear seat and goes all the way down to the floor. There is also a bar that you bolt into the side rails that sits right behind the rear seat.
This top isn't for someone that has a family to haul around. My Jeep isn't my family car. If it's a nice day and I'm going to take friends out in the Jeep, I just take the top all the way off. It only takes about 10 minutes to do it all by myself.
If you need to use the back seat I'd get a full top, or get the safari top, duster, tanneau combination. Then you can still use the back seat with the safari top on. I'd bet this top isn't the "best fit" for a lot of people, but for me...it's just fine...my back seat never gets used, so there is no issue.
