Karma Ratings

The Karma rating was added to the proboards in the latest update/ version.
I was doing some updates here last week & saw it & figured we could test it out just for fun.
We can use it however we like & if the majority doesn't care for it I can remove it.
I switched the name from carma to Karma.
In the last 20 years that I've been around Jeeps I've noticed that -often- individuals in the Jeep community display random acts of kindness/help/initiative, etc & saw others use the term " carma " & adopted it to use here in a purely fun way (sorry- no prizes (yet) or burnings at the stake for good or bad totals ;D )
Anyway, I hope that helps some.

PS- any comments, suggestions, etc are encouraged!!

I'm thinking about adding 1 more category, a picture thread where you can show off your ride, request certain pictures, etc...
I haven't added it yet as I'm thinking it may be too much & might just start (or let someone else start) the official "Show off your ride" thread in the General section along with an official "Picture requst" thread..

I think a show off your ride thread would be good. A picture section would also be good, but I know (as I'm the administrator of my own ATV Club website/forums) that photos take up a lot of space...so, I'd say do as much as you can without having to upgrade to a more expensive plan. If you've got sponsors and cost isn't a big issue...the sky is the limit!!!

By the way, if you don't like the Jeep Karma system & want to opt out of it, all you have to do is send me a PM (private message) & let me know.
I found a code I can add that all I have to do is add your username to & it will remove Jeep Karma from your mini profile to the left of your posts

Personally, I like the Jeep Karma. I can't say exactly why, but it says a little more about the poster than a simple post-count can.

Yep, options are always good!!! Now if more people were actively using it, that would be cool. I know that anytime someone posts something useful to me, or answers one of my questions that they get a point from me.

I wish I could give more than 1 Karma point an hour. I usually forget to give the second guy a point the next time I am on. How about a shorter time span between Exhalting or Smiting?

I also try to give points out to helpful informative posts.
