hey im thinking of getting a safari top, jammer and deck. is it a bestop and how is it?

ya it does look good. im thinking of getting the bestop molded bikini along with a windjammer and deck cover

halftop should be out in a month So...it's been a month...Any news on the half top?? I'm going to order a soft top in about a week, so that I can enjoy the warmer months in the "open air". I've priced out a new soft top and the new fully enclosed bikini/duster/tauneau cover thru Jeep and Jeep Warehouse. My best prices are $1395 for the full soft-top, or $970 for the combo (including $175 for the necessary hardware). I'm thinking that for my general purposes, the full top will be best, unless they actually come out with a "sunrider" type half top. That would be great, but I don't want sit around waiting for it to actually come out and be available for us. |

I've been waiting for Bestop to release a half-top for the Unlimited too. I e-mailed Bestop, and I got the following response from April in customer service:
"We do plan to make a halftop for the unlimited but do not have an ETA on when they will become available April Bestop Customer Service"

Well...after a lot of thought into things I ordered the half cab top through Jeep Warehouse today. She said it was back-ordered, but they expect them sometime this week or next. She said at the worst it would be like 4 weeks. She actually called the distributor to find out for me. So...as soon as I get it, I'll post some pictures. It wasn't cheap, but it was what I had always wanted from day one....no sense spending the extra $500 (or more) on a full top and wish that you'd bought the half cab...  |

Woohoo!!! Not too much of a backorder. Amy from Jeep Warehouse called me today and my halftop and hardware kit are on their way to me today!! Looks like I better figure out a spot to put my hard top really quick ;D Maybe I'll get it on this weekend...Pictures coming soon  |
