Last week i bought the 2004 Unlimited. The Jeep came with the chrome tube bumpers front and back. Id rather have the black jeep bumpers on the truck. Do you think the dealer would swap them out for me? IM sure the chrome bumpers are worth more than the black stock wrangler bumpers, but i just like the way the regular bumpers look on the truck as opoosed to the fancy chrome ones. Just a matter of personal taste. Does anyone have pics of their unlimited without the chrome tube bumpers? Would like to see how she will look with just the normal bumpers on her. The car truck also came with Jeep running boards(Chrome) which I would leave on. Thanks for your help. Rich..

Just got back from the dealer. Picked up my registration and my "Jeep" tire cover the ordered for my unlimited. Ill tell you what, THIS TRUCK ROCKS!!!! Without doubt the greatest vehicle I have ever owned. I decided to keep the chrome tube bumpers front and back. I can always change them in the future if I wanted to. Im Jeep crazie or as my wife would say I have Jeep Mania! My salesperson told me this morning that the Jeep Wrangler Unlimiteds have really become very popular and they are hard to get. Same goes for the regular Wrangler he said as well. I personally havent seen many Jeep Wrangler Unlimiteds on the road yet. I see regular wranglers but not a lot of unlimiteds yet. This is one great vehicle folks. Wranglers Rock!!!! Rich..

Rich...congrats. You might as well have kept the bumpers...you paid for them. I plan to do add some chrome side rails on mine. I just purchased an '05 black unlimited with the premium H package last Tuesday the 31st. Also my wife says the same thing about me. Now I know I'm not alone.

I hear ya. They really are fun vehicles to drive and own. The truck goes into the garage every night. Just washed her this afternoon as well. I used the Mothers California Gold Stuff. It seems to do a pretty good Job. Congratulations on your purchase as well. Glad you were able to locate a 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Where I live in NJ, not many around, regular Wranglers as well. These really are great trucks. Good luck with yours my friend. Rich

I've been very amazed at what the Unlimited does on the trails. I can't wait to get some axles locked.
