I love my LJ, I wasn't too sure about the color at first(solar yellow) but it grew on me and now I love the color.
That being said, I am glad some people think the LJ is ugly. I just wished everybody thought it was ugly. If someone tells me they think its ugly(usually SWB owner), I tell them I think its ugly too.
Think about it...If everybody thought LJ's were ugly we wouldn't have to worry about thieves and vandals. Who is going to steal an "ugly" Jeep when there are plenty of "cool" SWB Jeeps out there. So let everybody think our Jeeps our ugly, then maybe one day I will be able to park and not worry about it being there when I come back.
