Been a while since anyone posted. I'm finally getting to the point where I am ready to buy a vehicle, again. In the intervening years, I have come to the conclusion that I just can not cope with the 4 dr JK.
So yesterday I test drove the new 2 dr wrangler and was satisfied. The suspension changes and the additional inches of wheelbase have improved the directional stability to the point that I can drive it. It's still not an Unlimited, but it is driveable now.
I was impressed with the road noise level with the hard top. I'm very noise susceptible, so that was a huge relief. However, I was a little disappointed with the acceleration from 60-80.
Hopefully a Jet Performance module will solve that flat spot. Has anyone here done that with a 2007 or later model? What were your results?
Meanwhile, I am keeping my eye out for a well equipped LJ in good shape.
