Stirrin' it up since it's been a little dead around here. Looks like they are finally making the fastback for the TJ and still in the works on one for the LJs, which means it will probably be another 2 years. Anyone else want one? I love the idea. I hate the bulky soft top with the cross-members.

I don't think I would buy one. It just cuts down on the rear area storage. Maybe I would change my mind if I saw one open.

I kinda like the look on a TJ, but think it looks a little funny on an LJ. Plus I don't think it would really be all that less-bulky than the stock top. I would have to see it / try it out in person to really pass judgment though.

It kind of reminds me of the Barker Top www.barkertop.com/images/up.jpgAt least the Barkertop is a motorized top. My wife would love to have a top that she doesn't have to put too much effort into taking down No fast top for me thanks.

The barker was terrible. I love this idea. If you look on the site, when you unzip the windows they are stored in a neat little compartment on top of safari top. Makes it nice for those of us living in the 3 PM, 10 minute thunderstorm everyday areas.

Makes it nice for those of us living in the 3 PM, 10 minute thunderstorm everyday areas. My thoughts exactly. Having to roll around with the top on all of the time because of the chance of an afternoon monsoon. Seems really convenient. Not to mention that when i have the soft top on the frame bars across the top rub the garage door everytime i pull into the garage. Which is why i havent put on my 1" coil spacer in the fron to level out my Jeep. I'm afraid i wouldnt be able to pull into the garage. There would be plenty of clearance with the fastback top. and that barker top is about the ugliest thing i have ever seen Another angle

Problem with the LJ would be the rear cage goes so far back - i don't see how the fastback section would get much of an angle...specially for any of us with custom cages or add on's to the stock cage....but It would get my vote - I like it...seeing it on an LJ might be different though

I like it too. It has a nice, solid look to it. Would like to see the inside too. Speaking of the Barker top, I have never seen anyone driving with it. And that's a good thing! Don't know if I could wave to someone with it.

Notice the "unlimited" on the rocker panel. From what i can see the LJ's stock cage with the Viking top give more of a fasback look than a TJ(notice the angle of the window on the TJ below compaired to the LJ above). I'm totally sold.

Yeah, it does look MUCH better on the LJ in the top...I'm really dig'n the front fender armor on there too! He's running a high line hood setup with flattie fenders and the AEV heat reduction hood...niiice. Lots of goodies on that ride - anyone know that actual Jeep?
