I figured since its time for the stock tires to come off now (worn treads) what better time to get bigger tires, however I dont have a huge budget and wanted to mount any larger tires on the stock rims. Any suggestions? Im looking to lift it with a budget boost 1.5 to 2 " max.

You could definitely get 31x10.50'son the stock rims without a lift. I'd go with BFG AT's. They work fair off road. They are great in winter for me in WI, so I figured you'll be wanting something like that up in CO.

X2 - this is a tried and true combo that many people start off with - budget boost and 31 or 32" BFG AT's. It is what I did and its working out real well - 2" BB, spidertrax spacers, stock rims and 32" BFG AT's. The tread is more aggressive looking, does better than stock in the mud, does much better than stock in the snow, about the same as stock on icy/wet roads, and doesn't make the ride unbearable when it comes to sound and hardness/softness. They wear really well for their size too, which makes a big difference on a daily driver.

i'm running 31" BFG ATs as well. i had to replace stock tires due to damaged sidewalls. new tires are a great time to upgrade with a lift! BB or BDS 2" would be good options.

I wound up getting GoodYear Wrangler Silent Armor 31" only because they beat the price of every tire dealer in town with 100.00 off my purchase. They claim the silent armor beat the BFG AT nationally in ratings. Nice looking tires and I love that 1" lift, now im hooked, gotta lift it more! Looking for a modest budget boost probably 3/4 or 1 or even maybe the 1 3/4 " lift.
Thanks for the advice guys!! I love my new tires.
