I was given a set of rear coil springs from a 2003 Rubicon. I want to put them in my unlimited to make the rear a little stiffer to better match the 3" springs I will be putting in the front.
Can someone please check the part number for the rear springs on the rubicon unlimited. I want to know if these will fit, and if they are the same for the unlimited rubi.
I think the ones I have have part number: 106AA

The number you have looks like the spring rate. Don't think that is the actual part number!

So does that mean the 106 is softer or harder???
Thanks

So does that mean the 106 is softer or harder??? Thanks Harder! I would think that these springs came off an automatic with a hardtop. Usually the autos and the jeeps that come with a hardtop have a higher spring rate so that you have less sag.

You're right!!! They came off a 2003 auto with hardtop. (non-unlimited).
I am just looking for a little stiffer rear to help match the 3" springs i am planning to put up front.
Thanks wv4x4!!!

I'm not sure how much stiffer those springs are gonna make your ride. If you are going with 3" springs in the front you might want to consider using some spring spacers in the rear. The rubicon springs are only gonna give you about 3/4"-1" more. The spring spacers might help give you a little more of a level ride!

Turns out I will be using the Rubicon springs all around and going with the jks adjustable coil spacer to level the front.
Any thoughts on what to use for sway bar disconnects?

How much are you looking to spend? I have the Tera S/T sys and love it! If your just looking for disconnects I would go with JKS.

Looks like I will just go with disconnects since I need a longer swaybar link. I know the stock ones won't hold up much longer
Thanks

I got the rubicon front springs to go with the ACOS, hoping it would be a little stiffer, but it turns out they both have the same spring rate - 130AA.
I guess only the back was stiffer.
I thought it would have been the 131AAs
