I have a regular 05 Unlimited, NOT a Rubi. I am currently running the 4.5"RESF-1.25BL-1MML with the stock rear driveshaft and slip yoke. Is anyone running a similar setup WITH a Belly-Up skid. I have the Rokman TT preordered (2.25 Tuck) and was wondering what the chances are that I won't need a SYE/CV shaft.
I've got no noticable vibes now. Could I possibly just lengthen my stock shaft and keep the slip yoke?

If you do, you might be able to adjust them to dial the pinion angle in, so it's pretty much within specs. There are people who are running 4+ lifts on LJ's, with the stock rear drive shaft, however, once you toss in the raised t-case skid, that changes things all together. You will probably need a SYE and cv shaft. Good luck!

I have the Nth Degree TT with a 2 1/2" OME lift with no vibs or SYE. The Nth TT is about as flat as they come. You may have to try yours and see.

Moneypit, you with your combo are about the same as I am right now. My biggest question is the angle look very slight right now, would some extra length get me by? I guess it may just be a try it and see deal. I wonder if some of the LJ vibes are coming from the slip yoke not going far enough into the t-case. And a slightly longer stock shaft may return some stability to it.
It really looks like a longer shaft may work. Any yes I do have adjustable uppers.
Thanks Paul
