I know that the comparison has been made before and I have mistaken one or two JK's for an H3 on the road when they first came out... A guy I work with just took delivery of his JK Unlimited Sahara and parked next to another buddy's H3. I snapped a pic with my cell phone, so the quality isn't the best, nor did I get more than one angle... They are very similar (almost identical) in size and very similar in shape. You can see how people would confuse the two...

Not too ironic that the next vehicle in line is a Chevy s10 Blazer... on which vehicle's replacement, the H3 is mounted.

The one on the left looks more Jeepy.

The one on the left looks more Jeepy. I sure like that Jeepy look better. Much more tough and rugged looking.

The vehicle on the left of the JK looks to be a Grand Cherokee. Interesting to see the size difference between those two also.

I don't know if it is a Grand Cherokee, but it is definitely a Jeep. Since it is not squared off and "hummerlike" I'm assuming it is a year or two old Grand Cherokee. The Jeep badge is readable when blown up to full screen. It has 4x4, lower left on Tailgate and lower right is unreadable.
It appears to me, the stock JK is actually taller than the GC? next to it.

Yeah, the vehicle on the left is the current model Grand Cherokee. I was at a dealer the other day and noticed that a Sahara Edition JK *looked* much larger than the current Grand, it is taller and *seems* wider, though I didn't measure it or anything.
The sales dude there kept remarking about how the new JK looks "just like the Hummer". I had to correct him - the Hummer looks just like a Jeep!

I agree. It's the same as telling a Harley guy his "Fatboy" looks like a "Goldwing".

How can you not be able to distinguish a Jeep from an H3? Get your eyes checked bro.

How can you not tell the difference between a Jeep and an H3? But then again, the other day I couldnt tell which one was the Vette or the Camaro.
