At any rate, Allpar is reporting that Dana got the contract for the axles so it looks like they'll retain the option of D44s in some configuration. I would assume base models will retain D35s.
The pics in the German mag look like they may have the soft-top on. The shorter wheelbase two-door doesn't look much bigger than the current SWB TJ. Hard to tell. With SFAs and Danas, they should be interesting. I would prefer the I6 over the V, but I suppose you can't have everything. It'll be interesting to see if the multiple-panel hardtop rumors turn out to be true...
