There will be no need to rush out and buy after market tires. They will be embedded in your financing already. I'd run those down 1st. For my purposes...I like that. All I wanted were some 32s.

Most of the articles I read said NO LWB two door. The only LWB, Unlimited model will be a four door to be released at least mid-model-year. It does have arm rest, but it is also wider and heavier.

I have to go against the grain as i really dont care for it. The 3.8 is only slightly more powerful than the 4.0l which doesnt make a whole lot of sense as this is the heaviest wrangler made to date. Maybe seat of the pants will tell a different story than paper specs. The gas tank and muffler placement baffles me the most along with the driveshafts. I do like the reverse rotation front axle and 5on 5.5 wheel pattern. In stock form i am sure it is the most capable wrangler ever made but still wont work on a lot of the rock trails a lot of us run due to the 32" tires. I have a feeling aftermarket is gonna have their hands full trying to figure out a way to make some decent skids and a lift kit for this beast. My take if it suits your need in stock form then go for it. If you need to modify with bigger tires and such, its gonna be very expensive. Thats just my 2cents worth

While it would be nice to have 33's on it stock, think about this... You don't need to lift a stock Unlimited much to upgrade from 30's to 31's. You won't need to lift the TK Rubi much to put on 33's, and a 2" BB would probably net you something larger.

Has anyone seen any type of pricing on this yet?? I really look forward to seeing the new 07's get modded and such to see what they come up with. Hopefully they release a v-8 or diesel option later on. I could really go for a nice hemi

One article I read said to expect $19k-30k.
That was the one posted in this thread, which was a scanned article. I blew up the pics and read the article, too.
I hadn't thought about the weight issue. Longer and wider, it is bound to be heavier. But, I think that modular hard top is going to be waaay cool. It solves a lot of issues for me.
I just hope they don't drop the LWB 2 door as indicated earlier.
And don't forget, the fenders are removable in some manner like the doors. You gotta know there's some aftermarket fenders in the pipeline as soon as that thing hits the street.

I also noticed that the new alternator is 160 amps! That would be great for winches.
