I was lucky enough to find a Wii after Christmas. My son in law had one , and we played some of the games that came with it. I have never been a real big game fan. But this one is fun and you get a workout while you play. We did some boxing and I was hoping to get knocked out I was so tired. Anybody play it and what games do you like the most? We have had some great parties with this thing.

We picked one up just before Christmas. We bought the Wii Play game, as well as Super Mario Galaxy (which I really enjoy playing), and the Tomb Raider game (which is tough, but I'm getting better at the controls). I've also played "Excite Truck" which is an offroad racing game, and it is on my list of games to buy. And I've played Guitar Hero. It will be the next game I buy... I've just got to find it first.

I bought the Excite 4x4 game. It's a lot of fun. Took us a while to get out of the tutorial. But now we got it. I also got the Winter Sports game. The cross country sking will kill you! What a workout. Downhill is tough to. Still have to try Curling. I think I need to find a 10 year old to teach me the ropes.

Wii is really fun. Buddy I work with has it & we play usually once a month over @ his place. I agree with money on the boxing, I was sweating and dog tired after going 3 rounds!!! What a work-out! Some other really cool games we've played on it are: Links Crossbow Training game. You play it with the Wii zapper and it's based on the Legend of Zelda games from the old Nintendo. Really fun. The other one we all like to play is Ghost Squad Command. What a trip. 1st person shooter game where you and all your buddies can play. Highly recommend at least renting any of the above and giving them a shot. But with all that said, I just bought Xbox 360 and am loving it!!! I just won Bioshock, (game of the year in 2006), and just picked up Guitar Hero III and am ROCKIN'. What a cool game.....and I can't wait for the Aerosmith version too come out later this year. And Halo 3 is sitting on the counter waiting to be started... I would've bought Wii, but I like somewhat more realistic graphics & went with something that has more online play capability.With that said, the Wii is a perfect family or party game system. It truly is very cool. In a perfect world, the wife would let me own both.  She already thinks I've regressed & am turning back into a teenager at 32yrs. old. with the purchase of a PSP for my birthday & now the 360. Oh well. *IF ANYONE HASN'T PLAYED GUITAR HERO, (any of them 1, 2, or 3), PLAY THEM!!!!! ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE INTO MUSIC!!!!!!!! They are fun! Happy gaming.  |

 OK...So I've been hooked on the Wii since I got one when it launched back in November 06. One of the guys I worked with got 2 and was going to put it up on ebay, but sold it to me for what he paid for it. When people come over, it's wii sports golf. a few beverages adn we all get a little better. Thinking about Tigerwoods or superswing golf. Excite Truck is awesome. Wish it allowed online play. I'm currently hooked on Medal of Honor: Heros 2 (due to the online play) My 3 yr old loves Wii Play....She's always asking "Dada, can we ride the cows?"  Played: Zelda...my wife enjoyed watching and helping out (read:Telling me what to do and where to go) Great game! I have had a Wii for a while and plat it with my son age 6 and yea you do get a good work out and I am yet to understand how a 6 year old can beet you in golf..... Another good game I have not seen on this thread is Monster Jam 4X4 you get all the monster trucks and get have a blast... GO Wii

We got one for the kids almost a year ago. I haven't broken it out as much as I thought I would but it is a really fun game system. We have rented a few games. Resident Evil was awesome on Playstation but so much better on the Wii. I lost entire days without realizing it just playing that game.
I really do want to try Guitar Hero but I haven't seen it around for the Wii.
