For my next newbie question, I was wondering about wheel spacers? Are they good for anything? Are they hard to put on?
The other question was about the body lift. I understand how the budget lifts go (good for about 2 inches) and a body lift adds about another inch. How hard is it to put on a body lift?
Last question, how stupid is the Jeep going to look lifted three inches with the 30" tires on it and wheel spacers? Am I going to look like one of the gang banger cars with the small tires pushed way out? (Lowered Jeeps make my skin crawl).
I know I want the lift but I don''t think I can do the tires and the wheels all at once and still remained married.
Thanks Chris

I have Spidertrax spacers on my 05 - super easy to install, just need a good torque wrench. Its just like putting a tire on. I have 32x11.50 tires on stock rims so I needed them in order to clear the rear spring perches. If you buy spacers, do not buy the cheap ones you can get at local parts stores or on Ebay, spend the extra money and get the real ones. I know it would be cheaper to buy the black steel rims with the correct back spacing like a lot of people run, but I've never been a big fan of the looks of those and I really wanted to keep the stock rims. I have not installed the body lift yet but thats next on my list. To answer your next question, how it looks is a matter of your taste, since you make the payments! In my opinion, it would look a little funny though. What you might want to do is just buy the lift(s) and the spacers {if needed} and set them aside until you can get the size of tire you want, that way you aren't stressing out the bank account all at once!!!
