Well, here's a month & a half that has brought the suck. Opening Day @ Wrigley Field. Go to head over to HiTops for some post game beers. My buddy & I decide it would be fun to race and see who could get there the fastest. I step off the curb, and step onto the outer side of my left ankle. Second degree sprain. Literally couldn't walk on it for 3 days. On Mother's Day, my wife broke her wrist riding a little 35cc ZBlade gas powered scooter. They put her in a full arm cast, and I become Mr. Johnny on the spot and am doing whatever extra I can to help her.... ...April 27th, @ an American Heart Association-Hoops for Heart charity basketball game, I tore my ACL & a tear of my medial miniscus. So now, we have to gimps in the house and can't do much of anything. I'm in an immobilizer & just hoping the next time I have to go to the little boy's room, my knee doesn't buckle while I'm peeing! The ankle is still killing me! Bad things happen in three's & I'm just hoping where done for awhile. I just drove my Jeep for the first time since the ACL tear this Monday. Man was that good. Now if I could just get the knee rehabbed enought to install my lift before I get surgery. ...things could be worse though. Cheers!

Holy crap, what a run of bad luck! Try sitting down to pee for a while. It will save your knee and cut down on bathroom clean up time. You should be done with accidents now for the next several years. Try buying some lottery tickets a see if you can turn your luck around. Hope ya feel better soon.

Always in 3's.... I feel for you. We've had a bit of misfortune lately too... (like in the last 3 weeks)
Wife's Uncle had a stroke
Wife's Grandfather had heart surgery, and is now on a feeding tube in a coma
My dad diagnosed with skin cancer...AGAIN (years of farming will do that to you). He had it removed yesterday... tests come back in a week.
I tell ya, when it rains...it pours. Good luck in your recovery. I'm hoping that all the folks in my family make a full recovery... I have a bad feeling about the ones on my wife's side... only time will tell.
