I have another business trip to Valley Forge next week. The wife and I will be flying out there a couple days early, so we can hit the historical sites in Philly. Can anybody comment on the relative safety in walking from Independence Hall to Pat & Geno's during the day on Sunday?
Thanks for the help.

Safety should not be a problem for that walk. Use common sense though, and map it out so as not to appear as tourists. If you have a vehicle, you would be better off parking on the street down there though, as it is a but of a hike down to 9th and Passyunk from Independance hall and parking would only cost a couple of quarters. There is plenty of parking to be had on the street on Sundays in center city as well.....Oh, and Pat's is better than Geno's in my opinion...just be ready to order when you are at the window.

In case you were wondering, I am fairly familiar with the city, because I supervised express freight delivery routes for a huge chunk of the city. I drove past the Liberty bell and Besty Ross's house so many times, I lost count...I never did get a chance to visit the Mint though...I would still love to do that.
