especially after the interference the cubs had the other year - I'm not really a sox fan, but i'll suck it up to support the city. I've been watching and i don't see them getting beat.

Sports are more exciting when its not the same team(s) year after year winning it all - congratulations to all the White Sox fans and I hope the Atro fans get to join you in the celebration!!!!  |

As a die hard North-sider fan, I can only watch those pale hose with a little envy. But, as a baseball fan, DAMN they are good!!! Talk about 4 starters going all 9 consecutively! Good pitching, timely hitting, and you got Ozzie-ball. |

hehe - I still think "pale hose" is the funniest nickname in sports - I laugh every time I hear it......nothing agaisnt the White Sox or their fans, but you have to admit thats hilarious....

As a diehard Cards fan, things could have gone a bit better... but without a doubt the better team won. Hats off to the 'Stros.
Having said that, I'm pulling for the Sox. I'm a fan of Mark Buehrle, and the Sox are the only team that are capable of pissing off Cubs fans more than the Cards (I say that with affection, I'm married to a Cubs fan).

The umpiring this postseason is the worst I've seen since '85. Still, the Sox would have won no matter what. Amazing team.
