well i finally took my jeep off the beaten path. i recently moved to san diego and went to trails.com and found a trail close by. The trail itself was easy the views were great. there were some areas off the trail that were challenging. had my first holy crap moments where i thought theres no way but my unlimited handled just fine. can't wait for my next adventure. I hope to bring some one with next time so i can take better pics. i will have to find a way to link my pics.

Sounds like you had a good time. I use www.photobucket.com for pictures. It's free and you just cut and paste them. Just a side note. Try to not wheel alone. It's best to find another Jeep to go with you. Bad things can happen and no one will find you. Enjoy the Unlimited, it's a very capable truck!

It all starts with a little trip off the asphalt! Then the sickness sets in! Then the lifts, tires and other accessories. Sell your Unlimited now before more spending sets in! Just kidding! Moneypit is right, get someone to go with you. Once you know your limitations and have the proper self recovery equipment, going alone sometimes can be fun.

thanks for the advice. it was suppose to be a real easy kind of senic drive and it would have been if i stayed on the right path but when i seen the other trail something came over me but yes even as i was doing it i was thinking what the hell will i do if i screw up. i'm glad every thing went ok though. i might join a club here in san diego.
