Trust me timmy, they don't look new in person we left it out in rain for a long time our dog even used it as a restroom if you know what i mean.

A lot of times, I want to have a cold beverage too, but that urge passes very quickly when I hear my daughter scream "DADADADADA" as she hears the back door open. Usually the sofa experience happens around 9:30 PM after she's in bed and I've eaten and my wife tells me about how that one lady that works for her has driven her nuts again. Then the dogs are needy, and finally a little me time on the sofa. If I'm lucky, I'll get the computer or Lost, Mythbuster or Stargate are on the idiot box....otherwise, i'm stuck watching Sex In The City reruns. The sad fact is there's only 1 tv in our house and I give it up to my wife usually. One of these days I will tackle that "basement project"... |

The basement project sounds good just imagine a room to call your own with all the goodies like a big screen plasma, a bar with lost and lost of beer,a big sofa,air hockey table and more. Call your friends and have a cold one.  |

Call your friends and have a cold one. Actually, I've got an air hockey table waiting for me, as well as a pinball machine that need's to be 'rehabbed'. The wife said that if I made it, I could decorate it 'within reason'. It's going to be my Jeep room. I have the grand scheme, it just needs to happen. It'll either be northwoods or soutwest motiff and willl have that plasma/lcd tv. But the grand plan also requires a front clip from an old CJ. The Mrs and I once saw a front clip from a Jeep and a plasma/lcd in place as it's windshield...I said "That will be in my basement some day" and she responded..."OK, whatever...you'll never get that basement done, so go ahead with your Jeep TV." If it ever happens, pics will be up. |

Sylvanis... get that in writing from the wife. They have a way of forgeting. Especially if they never think you'll finish the job. When I bought my Jeep my wife thought I was nuts. Told her I wanted to build it up some and take it offroad. She laughed and said "do what ever you want" . Well I am now over 10K in mods and she doesn't say a word. When I told her I was going to build a Teardrop trailer to tow behind it she did not laugh. I finished that one to. Just trying to think up a new project now. Maybe all the guys on the board can run up for a weekend and get your basement remodel started. But for now try selling her on the big screen, a cooler and a lawn chair for the basement. You can watch TV and design the room! |
