JN, it's between Mansfield and Williamsport... kinda near Canton/Blossburg... We have a group that goes there twice each year, in May and October. It's an all-guys get away weekend, camping in the woods. Age range is from teenage to 60. Many of the guys bring their sons, there's plenty of other outdoor activities, like trout fishing, hiking, etc. We camp on State Forest land, and the trails start on state land. Legal state forest roads. Many trails branch off onto private land. We usually have about 50 guys, and around 25 rigs on the trail. We have guys come from New Jersey and New York for this outing, it's a blast! It started with a group of 5 or 6 friends going fishing for a weekend back in 1986. We eventually invited other friends, and in the mid 90s started exploring the trails with a couple Jeeps. A few more pics. October '03 at Lost Lake: May 07 Oct 07 Stuck Rubicon One the road to Seven Lakes... quite a line! Parking area at the campsite There are a few reclaimed strip mine nearby where we can play

Lynn I went to school in Williamsport and am slightly familiar with some State Forest off of Rt.15. Is this location near what they call Rock Run?

It's up near Blossburg on Rte 15, just south of Mansfield. We get off of 15 at Trout Run, then take 14 north to Canton. Takes about 3.5 hrs from York.
Were did you go to school in Williamsport? Penn Tech?

Looking on the map Rock Run is about halfway to Canton along Rt.14. In the fall this area is the most beautiful place on earth that I have personally seen.
I graduated from Penn College this past spring 07'. It was really nice to be so close to the mountains, 15 mins and I was away from the city and in the woods.
