It was alot of fun just wish there were other jeepers around. The stair climb is fun, it doesn't look that steep on picture but when your there in person you really get the full effect and see how really steep it is. The rock garden is also very fun but its more when you don't have a spotter and you take your time and really get the feel of it.

Man I am so jealous of you. How cool it must be to just take off and wheel anytime you want. I have to drive several hours and pay to wheel. Hope you count your blessings! Great pics. Thanks

There are a few private OHV parks. One in IL and IN. WI is 'considering' one. If I could only talk my wife into us both quitting our jobs and moving. I bet I could transfer in my job to Norther CA. I know that we have some stores in the Ft. Bragg/Crescent City/Ukiah area....

There is an offroad park about an hour and a half from the house. Or the Badlands offroad park about 3 hours away. Both charge daily fees. Otherwise it's paid runs like Jeep Jamborees. That's why I say count your blessings. Nothing else around here

Hey moneypit yup i do count my blessings the hungry valley ohv is free during the week but on weekends they charge a five dollar fee to get in but five dollars ant that bad if you ask me. Went back today but went to a different trail like 20 mins away gorman in Kern county. I took the top off the jeep and guess what i lost the back piece of the top so now i have no back window. it sucks anyone know how much one would cost. Some pics but just scenic views nothing hardcore.

could you post the specs on your jeep. Im purchasing an LJ and am in the planning stages of what Im going to do to her.
I like the stance of yours. What lift is that? You running spacers to keep the stock wheels?
Im wanting to run 33's and would like to keep the stock wheels, but I think Id have to run 33X10.50's to keep from rubbing unless I spend $200+ on spacers.
Great pics....sorry to hijack.

Hey cmorgan good luck on purchasing the LJ no need to be sorry. I have a 3 inch Full Traction kit my LJ i bought it from 4wheel parts and also had it installed there which i don't recommend but they only charged me 1,500 for the lift and install which was not bad. I am running 32x11.5 BFG MT's which work great with the lift but you can also fit 33's. I don't have wheel spacers cause i didn't want my tires sticking out of the fenders so what 4wheelparts did was installed a couple of washers on the steering adjustment bolt and it took care of my rubbing issue and it did not really effect my turning radius and on how the jeep drove, here is a link that you can go check out on the steer stop washers you can that at home very easy www.4x4xplor.com/steerstop.html. Good luck, if you need more info or help pm me.

Thanks for the info. So, you are running 11.50's with no rubbing, just washers for stops when turning....I really wanted to run 12.50's but I just dont see how with out buying new wheels.....
I think I have decided on the kit from Rocky Road (4" with OME shocks). Now I have to see what kind of reputation they have before I make the purchase.....and yes, Im buying stuff now so that when the LJ is in the driveway I can get started!
thanks for the info!
Really nice rig.
