Wanted to get the word out that United Four wheel drive is doing there FIRST ever trail run. It will be in April the 10,11,12 at Oak Ridge in VA (where they held Camp Jeep at) you can go their web page www.ufwda.org and find the registration, and on the forum site there is additional information. It is going to be a great time and a GREAT place to wheel (should be running all the trails at Oak Ridge in a loop ).

great area...nice trails. We've been down there twice for Camp Jeep and it is always a great time. Way too long a drive for just wheeling. W/ Camp Jeep, I can get my daughter in the kids tent and the wife in the spa tent plus all the other activities.

Good luck to UFWDA in this venture. I'm sure it will be a great turnout, as this area always sells out for Camp Jeep.

I want to remain positive, and that UFWDA members are respectful for the property owners. it would be a shame to lose a place like that due to stupid wheelers.

Just re-posting here to see if any LJ are going to this event the last thing I heard was there were 160 vehicles already signed up !!! It should be blast, I know that they are going to start going over the trails in Feb to get them ready,

I'd love to. The area is great and I presume they'll be running some of the trails that are run @ Camp Jeep. Way to far to go to wheel right now We get 1 "big" vacation a year. last summer it was Camp Jeep...this year <shudder> Macinac Island with the in-laws. Sorry.

Thanks, yea that was at Oak Ridge the same place where they hold Camp Jeep here in Va ( when it does happen) and they also do the VA 4 WD annual trail run there as well. I think there was around 200-250 vehicles signed up and about 20 Jeeps in my group (go H Trail) We had a blast and the little bit of rain on Sat morning made the trails a blast in the mud, If I get any more Pict's I will post them up
