just want to know if there is 2005 unlimited that comes with a v6. up the street where i bought my patriot blue 2004 unlimited. there is a 2005 black unlimited. looks real nice dual loaded $36.000 CDN funds. but now they got in front of the lot, and they have that white paint stuff on the window. "It says" 2005,auto.cruise,dual top, loaded, and V6. what with that ,i haven't had time to check it out. but I'll keep you informed. I'm wondering if they made a mistake when they wrote that on the window...V6 is there a V6 in the 2005 or maybe it's a 2006 with a V6 not sure. is there any body out there with a 2006 unlimited with a V6. I like to know. going to check out that unlimited tomorrow i'll let you know "LTJ jeepers".

I suspect it was a "goof" on the part of the person writing on the window. No V-6 for 2005 or 2006. I've heard rumors of the 3.7L V-6 going into the 2007 Wranglers, but...they're only that....RUMORS

No, it's got the 4.0 I6. You'd be amazed at the lack of basic automotive knowledge on the part of some salespeople at these dealerships. Take a gander at AutoSoup or cars.com for the listing on some of the 4.0 Cherokees. A startling number of them have "V-6's". At least they got the "6" part right...
The TK is reportedly the point where they're introducing the 3.7 into the Wrangler, and the venerable I6 will be history. Sigh.

Also, there is no preprinted windshield sticker that says I-6 and in the traders where you submit ads online there is no I-6 option since most people cant fathom an "I" engine (let alone an L,F,H,W,or a boxer)
