Ride @ The Cliffs in IL

I was wondering if anyone from the board would like to get a LJ ride to The Cliffs Insane Terrain park in IL

I figured that all the folks in and around Chicago wouldn't mind making this short trip. If we get some interest, I'll come down from Milwaukee. I was thinking the first weekend in October?

Any thoughts?
Maybe we play hookey and go out on a Friday. You know the old phrase, a bad day wheelin'....

I am interested. But My son in law (Rubi LJ) and I are going to the Jeep Jamboree in Crandon Wi. the last week of Sept. Then the weedend of the 12th I'm going with a few guys to build some trails down in Pittsfield IL. Want to join us for the JJ? That would be 3 weeks in a row. I think my home life will suffer.

I watned to go to the JJ but i am stuck working that weekend. Ironically, the JJ in Crandon is run by members of the Jeep club I belong to (Legendary Civilian Jeepers http://www.lcjs.org). The trails are nice and Crandon is a nice area, but there have been issues with the locals. We use a private forestry company lands, and we have very specific deals with them surrounding land use, and the locals don't like that very much, so we're stuck in a catch 22. The businesses like us, cause we stay up there and we actually have ties to the community. But there are some up there that don't Tread Lightly...which can cause some problems.




Maybe we push the date back a little? Any other thoughts?

Thanks for the info on the JJ. I may be able to go in Nov. But don't hold on waiting. If you get a group and are going post up and if I can join you I will. Thanks....
