I see your guys pictorials on the trail it does look exciting. I love hitting a good trail myself. . . I'd just like to fill you in on some of the every-day excitement of driving a jeep in the windy city of chicago. I'll be traveling with my camera for the next week or so snapping pictures of the oddities of nature I run into (much like what you guys do on the trail), and if I have the thought, i'll even include pictures of near-misses with drunk and/or stupid drivers. us chicago guys are used to it, but it still is an adventure getting to work every day. all you chicago jeepers - pitch in if you find something just too good to leave out. look for periodic updates throughout the week

I always used to enjoy the first significant snowfall of the year when I lived in Chicago...the city would have to plow the snow somewhere and usually it would be in piles along some of the streets....this made great photo ops for the Jeep in an "Urban Wheeling Environment" . I'd park on every mound of snow I could find. I justified to a cop once who called me on it and told him, I was opening or, leaving more accessible parking for "less" capable vehicles. On that same note, I came out one morning when I lived on LSD & Addison & there was a brand new Grand Cherokee parked just like my Wrangler was.....Up on a pile of snow! Now that's cool.

Hey fellas, sorry I've been super slow on posting pics. I've been workin like crazy and haven't had time or weather to take the jeep out for a nice ride. I'll be showing you some shortcuts that cars can't take, some traffic jams where everyone stares at me with no doors, some nice scenic views, etc. I've only got a stock wrangler, so don't get your hopes up for seeing pictures of me driving OVER traffic. I'll just show you guys how I have fun on my way to and from.
thanks for waiting
mike
