I was hoping you were talking about Kentucky and not the Jelly. I was more than a little afraid to click the link.

No, but whenever someone asks me where I got my degrees from, I tell them I went to a little school called F.U. It's too bad about the KY initials!!! But then again, didn't they shoot "Deliverance" in Kentucky??? "Hey boy, you've got a purdy mouth" All in good fun my friend...all in good fun!!!

Hey My man you should be real careful when you are taking those unlimiteds off-road. They don't like bringing them out here on the trails, since their longer frame can't take alot of the stress on the off-road courses in the mountains. I don't know about Kentucky, though. But theres nothing like flooring it through a massive puddle. Good to see fellow JeepCreeps having fun even in the midwest

Hey My man you should be real careful when you are taking those unlimiteds off-road. They don't like bringing them out here on the trails, since their longer frame can't take a lot of the stress on the off-road courses in the mountains. I don't know about Kentucky, though. But theres nothing like flooring it through a massive puddle. Good to see fellow JeepCreeps having fun even in the midwest We need a BS flag smiley. The slightly longer framer is not so weak that it can't do anything that your rig can do when properly set up. The only shortcomings the Unlimited has off road are a slightly weaker performance in break over angle, entry angle, and departure angle. The specs on a Rubi aren't too terribly different from a stock unlimited. Slightly beefier suspension, and lockers, a fancy decal and cooler wheels. I have to wholeheartedly disagree with you on whatever point you were trying to make.

don't stock LJ's have the rubicon suspension in order to deal with the added weight?
I'll tell you my friend, the hill climbs and descents are much more stable with a longer wheelbase. underbody skids and rear end reinforcement would curtail the pitfalls previously mentioned.
either way, they're both wranglers, it's just that the shorter guys can turn easier in tight spots, and we have a better ride. who cares?
