I will soon be adding 3" lift springs on the front of my LJto commpensate for the weight of the winc and hi-lift jack, and need new shocks.
DOes anyone have any recommendation for Shocks.
I was thinking that the OMU shocks had a good review, but haven't priced them though. I wanted to keep the stock rear shocks, so I guess I would need something similar to these.
Any ideas.
Also - thanks everyone for all the help, I know you have probably heard a lot of these questions before!!!

You might want to go with something like a Rancho RS9000 where you can adjust the shock so that the front feels similar to the back...just a thought.

I have the Old Man Emu Nittro shocks. They have a great ride. I don't think that I would mix shocks. I believe in all 4 being the same is prefered.

I agree with that, but it sounds like he only wants to replace the fronts... I personally would do all 4 and get longer rear shocks (which you should have anyway with the 2" spacers in back)...but if you've got to piece things together a little at a time I don't think mixing shocks will really hurt anything.

Actually you're correct nwquadriders. The dealer installed by 2" BB, and my delivery was delayed since they had to install longer shocks. I guess I should try to match those. The only thing is I figured I would need shocks with stiffer compression since the weight of the winch, and the beam of my hi-lift would make the front end a little bouncy.
