After my lift was installed last fall I have not reinstalled my inner fender wells. I am wondering how many of you are running around without them? And if you have removed and installed them where did you get replacement push pins/tacks, most of mine were stripped out while removing. You can see how it looks now from this photo. My biggest problem is that I have mud and stones that are getting all over the underside and nooks & crannies of the Jeep, and not washing off with a regular hose down. Thanks, Krafty

I'm pretty sure that you can get the push pins from the dealer.

You can also buy the plastic push pins at Lowes and Home Depot. They have them in the specialty fastener bins... Much cheaper than going to the dealership.

I tried that last fall when I took them out. The Lowe's (Home Depot had nothing specialized) near my house had similar pieces for chrysler products, but they were to large in diameter to fit. I try to stay away from the dealership as much as possible. Maybe I will try back at Lowe's or may try my local Ace Hardware, they seem to have more specialized pieces. When you guys reinstalled them did you have a nice gap with a body lift?

No body lift here => NO GAP
But...I replaced my push pins when I installed my Bushwacker fender flares. Lowes had about 5 different sizes for me to chose from (not all were Chrysler...but that doesn't really matter).

You will find a variety of plastic pins at your local automotive store (Murray's, AutoZone, etc.). My local store has a bunch of sizes on an end-cap in the back of the store.

Thanks Guys, I will check both Lowe's (again) and Auto Zone/Advance Auto. I guess I am the only one running around without my inner fender wells in.

I guess I am the only one running around without my inner fender wells in. Yeah...I think you would want them in - small measure to keep dirt from getting in to where you can't easily get it out. Dirt traps moisture in those little crevices - will turn in to rust spots in no time.

Advance Auto had them for $4.95 for 16 or 18 of them.
