I won a set of 4.75" Bushwacker Flares at a poker run last month. They finally showed up and I'm doing the install. Removing the stock flares was a pain, but that's done, and I've got the new front flares and extensions installed. Here's my problem... The holes on the new rear flares don't line up that great, and I was wondering if the folks who have installed them before had run into the same issue. The front flares all lined up great and went on really quick. Is there a sequence (like start at the top and work your way down on each side) to use, or am I going to have to bust out the drill and make a couple of the holes a little bigger on the flares? If I have to ream out the holes, I think I'll need to go and get some bigger stainless washers to cover any holes which may show up after getting things aligned correctly. Any hints, tips, etc??? Thanks in advance

I did mine a few years ago. I don't remember having to much trouble. I do remember having to stretch them a little to get the farthest holes to line up. I started all of them and then went back and tightened them after all were started. One thing I can say is the rubber washers (spacers)did not seem deep enough. So I did not tighten the flares down till the spacer was compressed. It seemed like the bolts would pull through if I went any farther. I even called their customer service and they were no help. It looked like the rubber fender welting was really what hold them tight anyway.

Well, I got them on. Ended up drilling out the holes on the rear flares just a little bit, and that made all the difference.

I really like them, and the difference driving in this wet weather we've been having is great. I can actually see out my side windows again (instead of getting a ton of spray off my front tires). I'm sure the folks driving behind me are happier too.
